Hello Kitty fans visiting Japan will have a new kawaii stop to add to their itineraries, as Sanrio House opens its first-ever café booth at Nagoya PARCO on October 29, 2026.
Located on the first basement floor of the shopping centre's West Building, the new store marks Sanrio House's first expansion into the Tokai region. Alongside character merchandise, apparel and cosmetics, visitors can enjoy a café menu inspired by four beloved Sanrio characters: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll and My Melody.
The menu features character-themed crepes, soft serve ice cream and mini parfaits, each topped with original marshmallows shaped like the characters. Flavours include Hello Kitty's apple and mascarpone crepe, Pompompurin's pear and praline caramel crepe, and Cinnamoroll's white peach and cinnamon sugar yogurt cream crepe. Prices for the character crepes start at 1,680 yen, while mini parfaits cost 1,580 yen each.
A limited-time Hello Kitty ice cream crepe will also be available from opening day, scheduled to run until the end of November or while stocks last.
Fans can shop for exclusive merchandise, too, including café-themed keychains, stickers and tumblers. The store will also carry the GELATO PIQUE collaboration with Sanrio characters and its popular HELLO BAKERY plush toys, designed to look like freshly baked bread.
For visitors hoping to explore the new café, advance reservations are required for both the shop and café booth during the initial opening period, with separate booking procedures for each. A separate capsule-toy pop-up will run at Nagoya PARCO's East Building from October 29 to November 12, with no reservation required.
With character-inspired treats and limited-edition merchandise, Sanrio House offers another fun addition to Nagoya's shopping and pop-culture scene.
