This summer, Enoshima Beach is turning up the heat with the limited-time Shin Ramyun POP-UP Store "SPICY HAPPINESS IN summer!", celebrating the iconic Korean instant noodle brand's 40th anniversary. Running through September 13 at AOSHIRO RESORT, one of Japan's largest beach houses, the free event brings together Korean-inspired food, interactive experiences, and beachside fun.
The pop-up follows a successful opening weekend, where around 1,000 visitors sampled special Shin Ramyun dishes and took part in games to win Nongshim products. While those giveaways have now finished, visitors can still enjoy the event throughout the summer.
A major draw is the collaboration menu, which reimagines Shin Ramyun in six dishes created especially for the event. Options include abura soba, tsukemen, and seafood champon, offering a fresh take on the classic instant noodles.
Another highlight is the Han River ramen experience, inspired by Seoul's popular riverside ramen culture. Visitors can choose from seven Nongshim noodle varieties, prepare them using an automatic cooking machine, then enjoy their meal on the terrace or by the beach.
The venue also features plenty of Instagram-worthy displays, including a giant Shin character sculpture, Korean ramen shelves, cup noodle tables, themed beach umbrellas, and a message wall where visitors can leave notes about their experience. Nongshim cup noodles with customizable toppings are also available to purchase.
