Waraku-an is a comfortable tea house in Seiryu-en Garden at Nijo-jo Castle, a World Heritage Site in central Kyoto. Its garden is reserved for guests who take tea. Before your eyes are the beautiful manicured gardens, preparing your body and soul for stillness and tranquility. What’s more, you can enjoy this space away from the crowds outside. Don't worry; this is not a formal tea ceremony. Powdered green tea and a Japanese cake are served for 700 yen.
