横浜の二大花火といえば、6月の横浜開港祭と8月の神奈川新聞花火大会である。打ち上げ場所は、ともに臨港パーク前の海上で、大迫力の花火とともに音楽や照明にも工夫が凝らされる。当日は予約席が設けられるので、事前申し込みをしておけば、混雑を避けて花火を楽しむこともできる。花火の行き帰り、浴衣に身を包んだ女性たちが軽やかに歩く姿を眺めるのも、花火大会の楽しみである。このシリーズのインデックスはこちら。
