The Sagano Bamboo Forest sits next to Tenryu-ji temple in the attractive area of Arashiyama, Kyoto. It is a worthwhile departure from temple visits, as the bamboo is quite impressive and beautiful year round.
The green grove is relaxing and the the bamboo sways and whistles with the wind.
