Snoopy fans have a sweet reason to head to Osaka this week, with the "SNOOPY STICKER CLUB -I LIKE... ICE CREAM-" event arriving at GRAND GREEN OSAKA from August 20 to 25.
Inspired by the "PEANUTS I LIKE..." message of enjoying the things you love in your own way, the free interactive event lets visitors choose Snoopy stickers based on their mood, much like picking your favorite ice cream flavor.
The highlight is a colorful ice cream truck photo spot, complete with Snoopy perched on top and surrounded by PEANUTS-themed decorations. After taking a photo, visitors with a numbered ticket can head inside and choose two stickers from a rotating selection.
There are 30 original designs in total, with 10 available each day. The designs are divided into five "flavors": Vanilla for gentle feelings, Strawberry for love, Bitter Chocolate for bittersweet emotions, Chocolate Mint for a refreshing mood, and Tropical Summer, an Osaka-exclusive flavor celebrating the season.
Fans following the official PEANUTS Japan Instagram account can choose an additional sticker, while completing a post-event survey earns another original sticker, meaning there are plenty of reasons to collect.
The event runs from 11am to 9pm and is free to attend. However, numbered tickets and stickers are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so getting there early is a good idea. And no, despite the ice cream truck, actual ice cream isn't being served!
