En la Isla artificial de Odaiba, en la bahía de Tokio, se encuentra el Museo Nacional de Investigación e Innovación Futuras de Japón, o el Museo del Futuro (Miraikan). Fue establecido en 2001 por la Agencia Japonesa de Ciencia y Tecnología para proporcionar información científica y destacar los hallazgos orientados al futuro de diversas áreas.
Por ejemplo, encontrará los datos de la red de sismógrafos japoneses que se muestran en tiempo real, lo que brinda una visión visual de la actividad sísmica de Japón. Toyosu Market es un mercado mayorista en Tokio ubicado en el distrito de Koto. Inaugurado en octubre de 2018 es el mercado de mariscos más grande del mundo. El mercado a su vez consta de dos mercados de pescado separados, uno para subastas y otro para venta general, más un mercado de frutas y verduras. También hay restaurantes y muchas oportunidades para los visitantes. Los turistas pueden observar el mercado desde una plataforma de observación en el segundo piso y participar en subastas y eventos guiados. Sin embargo, ya no es posible como solía ser en Tsukiji, que los visitantes estén directamente en las famosas ventas de atún, se construyó una plataforma para esto, desde la cual se puede ver el interior del mercado. Odaia Marine Park (お台場海浜公園), also known as Odaiba seaside park, is a park located on the edge of Tokyo bay facing the city's skyline and the Rainbow bridge.
El Tokyo Big Sight, oficialmente conocido como Tokyo Kokusai Tenjijo (en alemán: Tokyo International Exhibition Hall), se encuentra en el distrito Koto de Tokio en la isla artificial de Odaiba y es uno de los mayores centros de exposiciones de la ciudad. El centro de congresos local, que se eleva en forma de cuatro pirámides invertidas sobre el resto del recinto ferial, es visto como un símbolo. El Tokyo Big Sight se inauguró en 1996 y consta de tres áreas, cada una de las cuales alberga entradas separadas, restaurantes y otras instalaciones independientes: el centro de convenciones, la sala de exposiciones este y la sala de exposiciones oeste. Ambas salas de exposiciones están construidas de tal manera que partes de ellas se pueden unir mediante tabiques móviles para formar una única gran sala.
