El Parque Ueno (Ueno Koen) en el distrito Taito de Tokio es un parque público y con más de 10 millones de visitantes al año es el parque urbano más popular de Japón. Incluye el área del Templo Kaneiji, que se construyó para proteger simbólicamente el Castillo Edo, que se encuentra en Boshin durante la guerra civil en 1868 fue destruida en gran parte.
