The two Metropolitan Government Buildings are just a short walk away from Shinjuku Station. The many high-rise buildings, which we can see from here, seem to be the same height but with totally different faces. You may be surprised at how huge Tokyo is. If the weather is clear, you can enjoy the Tama mountains and Mount Fuji. This is a great inexpensive tourist spot. And with its own little souvenir shop and cafe, too, on the 45th floor. Finally, be sure to visit the serene Kumano Shrine nestled in among the many Shinjuku buildings after you walk across Shinjuku Park.
